It’s been one hell of a month for Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) in Coronation Street.

After spending ages trying to dodge rumours of an affair with Gary Windass (Mikey North), we finally know what the ITV soap icon has been up to… killing Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), with Gary helping her keep the secret.

She’s just confessed the truth to best pal Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), and he was fuming – as he’d wanted a chance to show his abusive ex he could live without him.

Crucially, she hasn’t told boyfriend Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) yet. Probably because he’s a police officer.

Some fans are currently convinced she didn’t actually do it, while Metro’s Freelance Soap Reporter Jon Boam wasn’t thrilled she didn’t make the soap’s official list of suspects… though others are surely delighted by the surprise twist. After all, Sarah’s name isn’t usually top of the list of Corrie killers.
