5 Emmerdale spoilers for tonight reveal Charity’s devastating new lie

In tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, Charity feels trapped when Mack wants the real story about what happened to Dr Todd. When she refuses to share anything, Mack jumps to his own conclusions.

Meanwhile, Jimmy is facing financial ruin – and Ruby knows exactly how to drive the final nail in the coffin.

1. Manpreet receives shocking news

Following Charity’s return from the police station yesterday, Manpreet gets her first chance to confront the pub landlady and ask how Dr Todd died.

Manpreet is mourning for her friend and former colleague, but she’s shocked when Charity tells her the truth about Dr Todd sexually assaulting her a few weeks ago.

Manpreet is forced to accept that Dr Todd was hiding her true evil nature all along – how will she deal with the horrifying truth?

2. Charity gets trapped in a new lie

Mack senses that Charity and Sarah are still behaving strangely. He puts pressure on his wife to tell the truth, pointing out that Sarah seems terrified and she’d be acting very differently if the story they’ve given to the police was genuine.

Mack jumps to his own conclusions, theorising that Charity killed Dr Todd deliberately and is now making a false claim of self-defence. Charity goes along with it, seeing this as better than Mack knowing the truth about Sarah.

3. Ruby makes an ominous discovery

Ruby warns Jimmy that she’s been looking through the books for Home James Haulage and sees that the business is heading for disaster.

Jimmy is confident that he can turn things around thanks to a lucrative new contract, but Ruby clearly has other ideas as she asks Kev to rob the delivery and ruin Jimmy’s plans.

4. Wedding bells for Lewis?

Kev’s attempt to teach Lewis how to ride a bike turns chaotic when it becomes obvious that he doesn’t have a clue, which leads to a crash.

As they spend time together, Lewis confides in Kev by revealing that he’d like to marry Vinny one day. Lewis stresses that it’s still early days for them, but could there be wedding bells?

5. Bear supports Dylan

Bear is sorry to hear that Dylan has been struggling with bad memories after the recent police presence in the village.

With Dylan considering going to see a therapist, Bear is on hand to offer support.
