Emmerdale has teased an exit date for Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher who have decided to leave the village, but with one exit 'confirmed', five others could air
Billy and Dawn discussed leaving Emmerdale this week, plotting to escape with the help of Caleb Miligan.
The characters could be bowing out after eight years on the show. As pregnant Dawn’s wedding to Joe Tate [Ned Porteous] approaches, she and her ex Billy [Jay Kontzle] are running out of time to flee with their three children.
Dawn actress Olivia Bromley is reportedly leaving the soap, while Billy’s fate is not confirmed. Amid rumours of tragedy and heartbreak ahead, will Billy and Dawn get away?
If they do leave with the kids, that makes five exits all in one go. But there could be a further two exits on top of that. It’s claimed Jimmy King is leaving the show, with Vinny Dingle also reported to be exiting.
So when do all these characters leave? Dawn and Billy’s exit date may have just been given away, if all goes to plan that is.
In a scene, Dawn told Billy they would be gone within days, stating Joe’s stag do, set to air next week, would be their plan to flee the country. But this won’t be when they leave.
A wedding promo and comments from soap producer Laura Shaw appeared to confirm there are wedding episodes. This means it will be after the stag do.
Also, Caleb [Will Ash] is about to alter the pair’s plans, changing their departure date. Caleb is going to refuse to hand over the passports to stop them leaving, as he wants the wedding to play out.
Wanting to execute his revenge on Joe amid their simmering feud, Caleb tells the couple they leave when he says so. He tells them they cannot leave until the big day, meaning their planned and potential exit scenes will air on this wedding.

As for Vinny and Jimmy, their exits are not confirmed.
The reports stated Jimmy would leave in the summer, and that he and Vinny would be leaving this year. It’s claimed both characters have been axed.
There may also be hints about a demise at the wedding for one character. Dawn was wearing a black veil according to eagle-eyed fans, so is she going to be left mourning Joe or Billy?
