Emmerdale fans, it’s going to be quite the week of episodes next week.
You do not want to miss a moment, as the big Tate wedding day arrives, leading to carnage and heartbreak. The Mirror is sworn to secrecy over the events of the week and what happens, but what we can say is expect twists and turns.
Cliché, we know, but we truly mean it. Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw told us there would be tragedy, STUNTS, and heartbreaking scenes.
Of course that eerie promo recently teased bride Dawn Taylor would have to choose between her groom Joe Tate and her ex Billy Fletcher. The end of the promo sees her crying and possibly donning a black veil, so naturally fans have wondered if someone will die.
All will be revealed very soon but now, we can reveal some new details. Some spoilers that we could not discuss before are out of embargo, while we also have chats with the dynamic duo who play Joe, Dawn and Billy coming very soon.
For now, here’s a taster of what you can expect next week as revealed in brand new spoilers. Now, they do not reveal if the wedding goes ahead or what happens, but it’s teased that “lives will change forever”.
There will be tragic consequences of what goes down as Billy and Dawn plot their final escape, and more than one character gets caught up in the drama. The huge ramifications will hit all of the village, and will be long-lasting for “years to come”.
So first off, Dawn plans to jilt Joe on their wedding day to run away with Billy, but Graham figures out Dawn and Billy’s plan and tries to stop them. Later Dawn is forced to question Billy’s account of the attack when Graham points out Billy’s claims don’t add up.
As Graham tries to stop Dawn from getting away, she attacks him with a shovel and drives off. Graham is tied up and unable to stop Dawn – but will she and Billy get away with the kids?
Meanwhile, Caleb beams as his plan for revenge on Joe finally comes together. After giving Billy cash for his new life away from the village, Caleb tells Joe that pregnant Dawn is running away with Billy.
Of course this is not good, given he’s meant to be giving the pair their freedom only to drop the bombshell sooner than planned. So will Dawn and Billy be away in time, or will Joe manage to stop them?
If he DOES catch up with Billy and Dawn, will he turn villainous once more? Caleb just can’t help himself, can he! Elsewhere, Jimmy feels betrayed as he realises Ruby and Caleb were never his business partners, and were working against him.
Caleb pays him off to silence him, feeling guilty, while Ruby’s unbothered about her run-in with Jimmy. As Jimmy questions his future, Bob fears that something deeper is troubling him as he tries to support him.
As the week draws to a close, a wave of shock and horror passes through the onlooking crowd after an incident. In the fallout to the wedding, DS Ramsden arrives at the scene, suspicious, while there could be more than professionalism driving her.
