Hollyoaks’ Gemma finally reveals shocking Vicky secret after six months
The truth has finally come out.

Gemma Johnson has finally revealed her role in Vicky Grant’s modelling career hitting a huge speedbump in tonight’s episode of Hollyoaks. Back in February, Vicky began taking her modelling seriously, landing a photoshoot audition in London.
But Gemma, wanting to make sure that her sister could run the salon with her, paid talent scout Miles to sabotage the job and turn Vicky down. However, he took the job far further than Gemma wanted, leaving Vicky crushed with severe self-esteem and body image issues that led her to begin using weight loss jabs.

Vicky has since been secretly dealing with an eating disorder following Gemma’s misguided decision, which all came to the surface tonight.
The episode began with Gemma gifting Donny Johnson and Misbah Maalik a special painting to celebrate his success in making an arrest in the gang he’s been after – unaware that his daughter is actually behind the group.
She later gives Warren Fox some good news, letting him know his son Sebastian Fox can return home, which leaves him elated.
His happiness was short-lived, however, with Jenson Cole telling Warren that it was Gemma who was running the gang and led him to believe he killed his half-brother – and therefore had the money he is after.
Warren and Gemma clash over the cash, while Jenson calls his contact at the police, asking to re-join the force to take down the duo.
Donny later found out that Vicky may be suffering from an eating disorder while speaking to Misbah and bluntly approached the topic, ordering her to come downstairs and outright asking if “food is a problem for her”.

He refuses to beat around the bush and outright asks if she is anorexic, which does not go down well.
While sitting around the lunch table, the family attempted to get Vicky to open up, asking why she had forgiven Prince McQueen for cheating on her and getting to the bottom of her issues.
Gemma returned home and joined them, which is when Gemma confessed to being the one behind the agent not giving her the modelling job after their relatives expressed their outrage over what the modelling agent had said to her.
The family felt betrayed, with Vicky walking away from the table and Donny telling Gemma to stay away from her and that he “couldn’t look at her”. Will Gemma be able to redeem herself?
