Hollyoaks reveals Jenson’s village return after game-changing death twist

Hollyoaks has revealed that Jenson Cole will return to the village next week after the massive twist that involved the supposed death of his character.

In recent weeks, Jenson has been pulled in different directions – his brother Warren was keen for him to undergo a bone marrow transplant to save his son Sebastian’s life, while Gemma was convinced that he had stolen a precious crypto wallet.

Gemma and her dodgy colleagues kidnapped Jenson, then Gemma hatched a plan to prove that Warren was only using him for Sebastian and would get rid of him as soon as he got what he wanted.

After getting intel from Gemma about where kidnapped Jenson had been taken, Warren arrived at a warehouse to find his brother tied to a chair with a bag over his head.

Warren intended to take Jenson to the hospital, but when he found out that Dodger would be Sebastian’s donor instead, he turned on his brother and fatally shot him twice – to the total horror of Prince, who had followed Warren.

It was later revealed to viewers, however, that it had been a set up and Jenson was alive and well. Warren had in fact killed one of Gemma’s men instead, although he is now dealing with the guilt of thinking he’s killed his own brother.

Prince has struggled to keep this secret to himself and recently told Vicky, Leah, Imran, Caleb and Frankie what he saw. Leah in particular was shocked, as she’d previously watched Prince’s secret video confession about his plot to kill Warren in revenge.

It may not be long before the truth is exposed though, as new spoilers reveal that next week Jenson returns to the village and immediately sets out to spy on Warren and Mercedes.

While his end goal isn’t currently known, Jenson waits for the opportune moment and sneaks into Warren’s flat. Is he about to announce his return to his brother, or is he looking for something in particular?

As the only person who knows that Jenson is alive, Gemma is confused about why Jenson has already returned to the village when she gets word that he’s back.

Gemma attempts to play dumb in front of Mercedes, who could be prying for information. However, it isn’t long before Jenson’s true motive is revealed. After his fake death, why is Jenson back in the village – and what does he intend to do next?
