Hollyoaks’ Frankie and Caleb face new challenge amid tense Beth ultimatum

Hollyoaks‘ new budding couple, Frankie Osborne and Caleb Keane, are facing a new setback in scenes airing next week as the feud with Beth escalates. The disagreement between the Osbornes and the Keanes continues following the car crash caused by Charlie Dean. After Darren helped Charlie hide, the teen decided to hand himself to the police, though Beth wasn’t satisfied with his arrest.

Now, she’s trying to keep Frankie and Caleb away from each other — but a new discovery may put a halt to her plan.

In recent scenes, Frankie found a picture of Beth with a newborn baby, presumably her son Maddox. The photo was torn to remove the baby’s father, with Beth snatching it out of Frankie’s hands, who swore she didn’t see anything.

As Beth is clearly hiding something, Frankie uses the picture to her advantage and issues an ultimatum in scenes airing today. Frankie promises to keep quiet if Beth backs off and lets her and Caleb to explore their connection.

Next week, Frankie threatens to expose Beth’s secret so she could have her way. She brings round gifts for Caleb, with the pair growing closer until he suddenly pulls the brakes on their relationship. Worried that Beth is behind Caleb’s sudden change of heart, Frankie confronts her in Price Slice.

Meanwhile, Caleb opens up to his father Jonah, admitting he’s worried he can’t give Frankie what she wants physically at the moment. His dad encourages him to open up to her.

As for Beth, she’s startled by a name on a flower order receipt that has come through. Concerned, she shows Jonah. Does this relate to her baby secret?
