Are Dawn and Billy leaving Emmerdale? Huge hint seals if they’ve left after exit plot
Emmerdale has teased an exit for Billy Fletcher and Dawn Taylor, with a scene on Monday fuelling this - but a comment from the cast may give away whether they've left
Dawn and Billy’s fates may have been given away on Emmerdale after an exit plot played out.
Recent scenes have confirmed the pair, played by Olivia Bromley and Jay Kontzle, were planning to flee the village and Joe Tate for good. As pregnant Dawn’s wedding to Joe approached, the couple were plotting to escape abroad with the kids.
A scene that airs in Monday’s episode heavily drops hints about what’s ahead, as a scene in particular confirms whether or not Dawn and Billy go ahead with their plan. The Mirror has chosen not to give this detail away, but what we will say is something cast members told the Mirror recently could confirm the fates of the characters.
Do check the episode out for yourself on ITVX now, the closing moments, to see what scene we are referring to. But actress Olivia and Billy actor Jay both said something to us that could hint it’s not what we think.
Olivia had told Mirror that there would be stunts. Jay also teased tragedy, with the week also only just beginning. Surely this is some major hints that for now at least, Billy and Dawn are not leaving… YET.
We have seen no stunts yet other than Dawn attacking Graham Foster, which is not tragic and wouldn’t even be described as a stunt. Olivia also teased we would see Dawn in her wedding dress, as she said it was chosen for the purpose of filming the action-packed week.
She talked of wearing the outfit in the heatwave, while there’s also been promo images of her in the dress. So the fact we have not seen this, and we haven’t seen much action, or tragedy or a stunt, surely it’s not over.
So this must mean we will see Dawn at some point. Then, there’s the spoiler image for episodes later this week. A crowd of people are shocked when an incident occurs.
The group are horrified and rush to the scene of said incident, before police investigate. This is all according to released spoilers and images.
Who is in the images? Billy! So that places Billy back in the village with the group, and Dawn will be in her wedding dress meaning she will also be back.
Of course this does not rule out an exit for the characters, with reports suggesting Olivia is leaving the show this year after eight years. So while for now, based on Monday’s episode, fans shouldn’t expect that to be when their exit airs, perhaps Billy and Dawn still have a chance of happiness by the time the week is over.
