Emmerdale may have just confirmed another violent death with lifeless body found

A brand new Emmerdale trailer has been released – and it has potentially confirmed another violent death.

It’s no secret that a number of changes are taking place within the Emmerdale cast right now. In the past few months, exits have been reported for Nick Miles (Jimmy King), Olivia Bromley (Dawn Taylor), Bradley Johnson (Vinny Dingle), Jack Downham (Noah Dingle) and Caroline Harker (Doctor Caitlin Todd).

From this list, the only character we definitely know will be killed off is Dr Todd. Her death was confirmed recently in the ITV soap through a flashforward sequence.

Emmerdale could be about to deliver a pretty major plot twist where shock exits are concerned, though, as a new trailer has revealed major danger for Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle).

Billy’s new relationship with Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) has sparked some feelings of jealousy for Dawn. Shortly after she found out that her ex had started seeing Gabby, Dawn suggested that they keep their romance on the down-low for a little while, believing that it would confuse children Clemmie, Lucas and Evan.

In yesterday’s episode, Dawn privately spoke to Billy about Gabby’s concerning relationship with food.

When Gabby discovered they had been speaking about this, and the fact that she’s decided to stop her birth control pill, she immediately assumed that Dawn was trying to jeopardise her relationship.

Angry and searching for revenge, Gabby planted a seed of paranoia in Joe Tate’s (Ned Porteous) mind, claiming that Dawn isn’t over Billy.

This is set to play on Joe’s mind in scenes that will air soon, as a new trailer shows him growing worried about Dawn’s eyes wandering.

‘Billy’s going to have to watch his back’, Joe says, moments before we see Billy lying in a pool of blood.

We know Joe is capable of some dark things when pushed to the limit, but is he going to organise to have Billy killed just to prevent Dawn from leaving him?

It is also possible that Joe’s attempt to get rid of Billy won’t work.

If Dawn discovers what her soon-to-be husband has done, could she leave the Dales with Billy by her side instead?
