Emmerdale scene ‘gives away who exposes Billy and Dawn’ and it’s not Graham or Caleb
Emmerdale fans think Dawn Taylor has made a mistake after telling someone about her 'trip away' from the village, which is in fact an escape plan with Billy Fletcher on the ITV soap
Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher might be about to be exposed on Emmerdale.
They’re planning on running away from the village with their three kids, with pregnant Dawn plotting to jilt her fiancé Joe Tate before their wedding. Their plan to flee immediately hit some difficulty, while they’d claimed to their young children Lucas and Clemmie that they’d be going away – not that they were leaving for good.
So Clemmie started to get suspicious about what Dawn and Billy were up to, but this was the least of their worries. Dawn was left panicked that Joe knew the truth when Graham Foster intercepted their exit plan, and took her and Billy to the field.
While the couple feared they’d been rumbled, Joe instead hosted a joint hen and stag do with their loved ones. After this, Dawn decided they should halt the escape temporarily in case Joe did know.
With Joe unknowingly ruining their moment to flee, by not going off on his stag do, Dawn decided it was too risky. But Clemmie wanted answers, and wanted to know what they were hiding.
Clemmie asked what was going on with Dawn and Billy, and why they couldn’t tell Joe about their harmless family holiday. Of course Clemmie doesn’t realise this ‘holiday’ is them running away for good, with a new life elsewhere.
But Dawn can’t have the kids knowing that yet, so she instead made up this holiday for her, Billy and the kids, while she has said nothing to Joe. When Clemmie asked why Joe couldn’t find out, Dawn lied that he’d be upset if he knew he’d ruined their trip by returning home early.
Of course Joe can’t know as he’ll realise Dawn and Billy are escaping. But has Dawn done enough to silence the kids, after telling them they cannot say a word to anyone about the ‘family holiday’?
Fans think Clemmie will slip up and tell someone about the trip, and drop Billy and Dawn in it. A fan said: “Clemmie starting to become suspicious of Dawn and Billy’s plan.”
A second fan wrote: “I hope Clemmie doesn’t blow the secret,” as a third fan added: “Clemmie won’t let it go.” A fourth theory read: “Feel like Clemmie is going to reveal about the ‘trip’ to Joe or Kim and give the escape plan away before Billy and Dawn can leave.
“She just seems to be suspicious and I can see her speaking about it to Kim or Joe now that it’s a ‘surprise’.”
