Robert hit by two shocks in Emmerdale spoiler video from Kev and Serena

Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) hasn’t been away for long in Emmerdale, and yet so much has happened.

In the time he’s been away, Robert’s cousin Serena Sugden (Casey Al-Shaqsy) has arrived, and his ex-husband Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill) has returned.

In upcoming scenes, Robert – who has been visiting his sister in Portugal with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) – gets quite a shock as he lays eyes on Kev again, and there’s only one thing on his mind.

In this new video, we see the moment Robert discovers that Kev is back. Very quickly, topic of conversation turns to their divorce.

That’s right Robron fans, a swift divorce means focus can turn to planning Robert and Aaron’s wedding once it’s sorted. Thankfully, Kev is more than happy to get the process underway.

Also in this clip, Robert is pleasantly surprised to see that Serena is in town.

Given Robert’s time behind bars, it’s definitely been a long time since these two cousins spent time together. What will their dynamic be like?

Serena was introduced to us last Tuesday. She was travelling in the area and needed to use the loo, so hopped out of her car and went in the bushes.

Unbeknownst to her, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) was nearby, struggling to cope under the weight of her secrets about baby Leyla and Doctor Caitlin Todd (Caroline Harker).

The noise Serena was making in the bushes startled Charity. When she appeared, the new face immediately noticed that Charity needed some help.

It took her a bit of time, but Charity eventually came to realise that this woman could be trusted. She spoke about all of her problems, and Serena carefully listened to everything.

As the two women parted ways, Serena got in her car and set up map directions for Emmerdale on her phone. When she arrived, Serena headed up the road to Emmerdale Farm, but discovered from Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) that Robert wasn’t around.

The newcomer liked the idea of getting to know Sarah, who she hasn’t seen for over 10 years.

Also this week, the unhinged bloke with the man-bun was back on our screens. Kev was busy working out of his bakery van when Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) arrived and shared the news that Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) had been kidnapped.

Kev – who is Lewis’ biological father – dropped his lemon drizzle cake to try and help him. It became apparent that Kev needed to return a necklace to a woman called Kylie. Considering he was all ‘I’m a changed man’, Kev didn’t actually return the item straight away.

Fortunately, Kev realised his son was more important than a necklace and he gave it back to Kylie. When Lewis returned home, he became faced with Kev shortly after. To literally everyone’s surprise, Kev stood up and sang Father and Son by Boyzone in an attempt to tell Lewis that he’s his father.

Lewis, overwhelmed, told Kev that he didn’t want a relationship with him.

A while later, Kev found Ross and Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) in the pub and told them that he doesn’t want to be someone who drops a revelation on someone and then leaves, so he’s decided to stick around.

Wow, hero.

Will Lewis begin to let Kev into his life?
