Two sick lies from Bea may destroy Honey and Billy forever in EastEnders

Poor Honey Mitchell’s (Emma Barton) life comes crashing down around her in EastEnders next week, as poisonous Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) destroys her relationship with husband Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick).
Bea has become obsessed with Honey since she arrived in Walford earlier this year, manipulating her and Billy into letting her into their home before committing various troubling acts.
As well as having stolen Honey’s identity to take out a fraudulent credit card, Bea revealed an even darker side when she tried to harm Billy by knocking him off a ladder – not having realised it was actually Honey who was up it.
With Honey now back on the Square after recovering from her accident in hospital, her marriage with Billy hits a bump in the road after a failed date, which Bea seizes upon to drive a wedge between them with more shocking lies.
It all begins when Honey catches up with Bea in the caff, and Honey asks her friend not to tell Billy about their interaction, which Bea then uses to suggest Billy is controlling her.
When Billy later stumbles upon the pair, Bea’s words weigh on Honey’s mind as she is firm with him that she will see who she likes.

‘She adores and loves Billy but there is something not quite right between them,’ explains Emma Barton, who plays Honey.
‘Honey is currently very hormonal and very peri-menopausal, and she is doubting herself. She is doubting who she is as a woman, and I think the signal she’s got from Billy, and especially after this failed date, is maybe she’s not attractive anymore.
‘She is welcoming Bea’s advice. It’s really clouding her judgement,’ she continues.
After Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) learns of Billy’s plight with Bea, he offers her a wad of cash to leave Walford – but Bea refuses to take it and exposes their actions to Honey in The Vic.
Honey is shocked and angered, but as Billy does his best to win her around, Bea steps up her campaign against him by claiming that Billy tried to sleep with her.

‘Honey’s world has come crashing down in an instant, and she doesn’t know what to do,’ says Emma.
‘It’s so embarrassing for Honey, and it’s so humiliating as she feels she has been let down by the two closest people to her. Her husband, and what she believes is her best friend. She’s thinking, 1) “why on earth would you announce this in a public place”, and secondly, she’s thinking “what is going on?!”’
A staggered Billy protests his innocence, and while Bea isn’t exactly a trusted source, the cracks that were already there in Honey’s marriage mean that she starts to believe Billy could have cheated.
Emma explains: ‘As they’ve just come off the back of a failed date, and they haven’t had this closeness in their relationship, and that togetherness, she starts to think that he might have gone looking elsewhere.’
A furious row continues between the trio back at No.18, and with his marriage hanging by a thread, Billy calls on Phil for help.
With Ronni Ancona set to leave her role as Bea in the coming weeks, will Phil be able to deal with twisted Bea once and for all, or are Honey and Billy set for even more drama at her hands?
