Dodger’s return triggers Cleo in Hollyoaks and a secret meeting follows

The chemistry continues to sizzle between Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) and Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) in Hollyoaks next week, with a secret meeting on the cards for the secret lovers.

The two fan-favourites, as viewers know, embarked on a passionate affair earlier this year after a stolen kiss at the hospital while baby Joseph was recovering.

Dodger, who is in a relationship with Theresa (Jorgie Porter), has avoided talking about his feelings for Cleo but doing so proved much more difficult when he moved into the McQueen residence.

The pair subsequently started an affair, with Dodger struggling to know what or who it is that he actually wants.

Earlier this month, the detective was injured while on the job, resulting in him being taken to hospital.

Cleo rushed to his bedside and told him how she feels, desperately hoping he’ll pull through.

Theresa, meanwhile, wasn’t pleased to learn that Cleo knew of Dodger being taken to the hospital before she did, with Myra McQueen (Nicole Barber-Lane) swiftly trying to cover for Cleo in a bid to prevent any conflict in the family.

Dodger is now thankfully out of the woods – and he returns home next week. Myra marks the occasion with a family gathering. Cleo, however, avoids Dodger’s gaze, still very much harbouring feelings for him.

Later, Dodger pays Cleo a visit while at work, revealing that he’s had a lot of time to think. The question is: just what conclusion has he come to?

That remains to be seen but later in the week, Dodger secretly meets with Cleo again. Is their affair set to continue? Or is this the end?
