Hollyoaks reveals huge Imran Maalik twist in early streaming episode

Hollyoaks has teased a huge twist for Imran Maalik regarding his big secret. It comes after cracks appeared to show in his and Leah’s seemingly perfect relationship following their return.
Imran deliver a speech at the couple’s housewarming party. Amid his praise for his other half, there was a note of hesitation when trying to describe her as the ‘love of his life’.

Leah and mum Misbah both picked up on his odd behaviour, and last night’s (29 July) episode, which is available to stream now, shed a bit more light on his secret.
Following Leah’s video project where everyone confessed their biggest secrets, she tells Imran that she watched the reveals and admits they feared that Prince killed Jenson. Viewers, of course, know that Jenson is actually alive – but the characters are yet to discover the truth.
While they promise to stick together as a couple, Leah starts an affair with Prince as they share a passionate kiss, while Imran makes a suspicious phone call… with its more sensitive nature suggesting he’s talking to another love interest.
“I thought about you today – everything we once had, how I never wanted things to end… and how if you said we could pick things back up, I would do it in a heartbeat,” he declares to the unseen person.

He continues: “I know you encouraged me to get with Leah when we broke up, and I have feelings for her – strong, deep feelings. But she is not you. I get it; I guess I just wanted to hear your voice. I’ll make things right with Leah.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Frankie speaks openly with Caleb about her past, and he promises to look after her. However, he feels a sensation in his foot.
Prince also pushes a heartbroken Vicky to keep her secret, as she feels he doesn’t care about her worsening health.
Imran actor Ijaz Rana previously teased to Digital Spy that his character “definitely has his secret”, adding: “It just builds even more suspense for what was said. I wish I could tell you what was said!”
