Dr Todd’s killer ‘confirmed’ in Emmerdale as they are exposed to vile truth of rape
Time is ticking for Emmerdale villain Dr Caitlin Todd (Caroline Harker) as her final demise approaches – but not before her horrific actions are exposed.
Dr Todd was first introduced as the co-worker making Jacob Gallagher’s (Joe-Warren Plant) life a misery with her bullying.
However, her cruelty hit new heights when she discovered Charity Dingle’s (Emma Atkins) baby secret and used it to blackmail her, leaving her completely at Todd’s mercy.
Their feud took a devastating turn last month when Dr Todd sexually assaulted Charity.
Though Charity reported her to the police, she was informed that there was not enough evidence to proceed, as Todd had claimed they’d had consensual sex.
Since then, Charity has been in a dark place, and even drove to the woods to escape her situation. Fortunately, Serena Sugden (Casey Al-Shaqsy) found her and managed to talk her into seeking support from husband Mack Boyd (Lawrence Robb).
Although Todd moved away from the village and went under the radar for a while, she returned to Emmerdale this week after bumping into Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker).
Her plan was to drop Manpreet home and sneak off without drawing anyone’s attention, but that was derailed by the appearance of Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), who went in on the doctor for her treatment of Charity.
This wound Todd up to no end, and she decided to prolong her stay by paying Charity a visit.
In upcoming scenes, Charity pulls on all of her strength to confront Todd, ordering her to leave her home.
It proves a difficult task, as Todd stands her ground and goads Charity by threatening legal action against her.
Not one to back down, Charity bravely demands that Todd confess to her assault, but she refuses, threatening to spill the secret of baby Leyla’s parentage to Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill).
As the situation escalates, Charity brands Todd a rapist, unaware that someone else has silently entered the cottage and heard every word…
But who is it, and could they be the one to bring about Dr Todd’s demise?
