All Coronation Street spoilers for next week as Jodie strikes again

There’s an emotional goodbye, a spot of grand theft auto, and Weatherfields most insidious femme fatale turns her gaze to a new target next week in Coronation Street.
While we all know that Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown) is a bunny boiler of the highest order, not everybody in Weatherfield does, and this week, mostly to spite Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon), she begins to eye up Kit Green (Jacob Roberts).
As she makes a move on the crestfallen copper, while also ramping up her vitriolic treatment of her sister, Shona Platt (Julia Goulding), is anyone safe from her twisted games?
Debbie Webster’s (Sue Devaney) dementia symptoms continue to intensify, and it’s not made any easier by Ronnie Bailey’s (Vinta Morgan) behaviour. As Carl, Kevin, and Abi Webster (Jonathan Howard, Michael Le Vell and Sally Carman-Duttine) try to help, can they ease her load?
Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) continues to struggle through her recovery post-stroke, and despite best friend Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) best intentions, is she doing more harm than good?
Elsewhere, Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) and Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) are rocked by a discovery about their family, Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn) and Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) are the talk of the factory and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) bids farewell to Weatherfield.
You ready to dive in? Thought so!
Sunday, August 30

It’s an emotional day as Nina prepares to leave Weatherfield.
Inviting her friends, Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney), Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) for some goodbye drinks at the Rover’s, Nina later shares an emotional moment with Abi as the two spend some time in Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) memorial garden.
With all of her ducks in a row, Nina bids her loved ones goodbye, before heading to Whitby with Roy in tow.
Monday, August 31

Debbie continues to suffer dementia symptoms, and Ronnie offers to take over the meeting with their suppliers, though she assures him she’s up to it, before he gently reminds her to swap her slippers for shoes.
Later, at the hotel, Ronnie tells her that she’s still wearing her slippers, and a confused and distressed Debbie suggests it’s time that they went home.
Meanwhile, Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment) can’t help but tell Maggie and Brian that their night together is the current gossip in the factory.
Tuesday, September 1

Still in debt to dodgy Fiona Morley (Sara Poyzer), Ronnie tells Carl that he’s thinking about stealing Idris’ car for her to wipe their slate clean.
Carl manages to snatch the key and hands it to Ronnie, but he’s in two minds about how to proceed.
Gemma stands by her mum’s side as they face an uncertain future following the revelation of a family secret. When Bethany tells her that she’s worried about Kit’s mood swings, Gemma’s forced to confront the idea of telling all to Bethany.
Elsewhere, Betsy is annoyed when Lauren visits but spends the entire time with her nose in her phone before she admits to Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) that she’s lonely, while Jodie tells Shona and Bethany that she was given community service for her assault on Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) .
Wednesday, September 2

Idris is furious at the loss of his car and accuses Ronnie before flooring him with a punch, before Carl pleads with Ronnie to let it go for the sake of Debbie.
Shona struggles in David Platt’s (Jack P Shepherd) absence, leading Jodie to step in, before she later tries to rain on Bethany’s parade after overhearing her arrange a date. When Bethany snaps back, Jodie turns her attention to Kit, asking him on a date.
Also, Betsy is able to stand for the first time since her stroke, and Lauren suggests that she and Ollie Driscoll (Raphael Akuwudike) deliver her some of his cake.
Thursday, September 3

Debbie relives her past as a hairdresser and treats Bethany to a full 80’s makeover, though Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) comes to the rescue as she picks up her scissors.
As she’s overcome with confusion, she rushes out and suffers a meltdown when she finds Ronnie drinking at the hotel bar.
As Bethany tries to enjoy a drama-free second date with Roman, her hopes are dashed when Jodie and Kit arrive, forcing her to explain the dramatic backstory to him, before she clashes with Jodie in front of the whole bistro.
Concurrently, while Jodie helps out with Harper in David’s absence, Shona is furious that she’s going on a date with Kit.
Friday, September 4

Jodie continues to manipulate Shona as she struggles with Harper alone. Suggesting Shona get some sleep, she awakens to find Jodie and Kit sharing a glass of wine downstairs and warns Kit that getting involved with Jodie is deeply dangerous.
Kevin and Abi take Debbie out to discuss her birthday plans, though Ronnie suggests that they aim for low-key, given her recent symptoms.
Elsewhere, Lauren forces Betsy to go out for lunch, but an off-colour joke from Debbie when she knocks some cutlery off the table leaves her mortified.
