The hunt for a violent culprit, the culmination of an insidious scheme and the formation of an unlikely friendship is all on the menu for next weeks EastEnders.

With Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) exactly where he wants him, Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) is ready to strike, and with his grandma, Sheila (Sheila Ruskin) laying in wait, it looks as though Chelsea Fox’s (Zaraah Abrahams) worst nightmares are about to become a reality – how much danger are they both in?

The brutal attack on Joel Marshall (Max Murray) continues to plague the teenage residents of Walford, but despite DC Craig Ingram (Matthew James Bailey) becoming a pillar of support for Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) in particular, they continue to crumble, is the truth close to being exposed?

Eve and Suki Panesar-Unwin (Heather Peace and Balvinder Sopal) face another hurdle in their journey with foster daughter Ria Virdi (Aaria Sharma), who’s utterly wounded when her biological mum fails to show up for her birthday party. Can some wise words from an unlikely source help out?

Elsewhere, Nicola Mitchell’s (Laura Doddington) family worry about the pressure she’s putting on herself, Jean Slater’s (Gillian Wright) money problems continue and Max Branning (Jake Wood) and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) make a big decision.

It’s a big week in Walford, so let’s get started on some proper spoilers, shall we?
