This article contains spoilers for tonight’s (Monday, July 27) Coronation Street, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on YouTube and ITVX.

Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown) has finally come clean to the police about her attack on Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) in Coronation Street.

Viewers will recall that on the night of Theo Silverton’s murder, Jodie struck Sarah over the head and knocked her unconscious after finding her peering into her trinket box.

It didn’t take Sarah long to realise who was behind her attack, and in recent scenes Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) told David and Shona Platt (Jack P Shepherd and Julia Goulding) about Jodie’s involvement.

This led to Shona confronting her sister, and Jodie finally coming clean.

In tonight’s episode, Jodie crashed baby Harper’s homecoming party and dropped the bombshell that she had confessed to the police and had been charged with assaulting Sarah.

However, that wasn’t the only major shock that Jodie gave the Platts.

Jodie has been carrying around her box of trinkets since her arrival on the cobbles, and has been filling it with items stolen from her neighbours.

In recent scenes, Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner) went searching for her games console, and instead found the trinket box hidden beneath the sofa, and was horrified when she opened it and found a gun inside.

Viewers may remember that the gun had been discarded by Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) after a showdown with brother Kevin (Michael Le Vell) in the garage, and Jodie was quick to scoop it up to keep for herself.

Tonight, Lily confronted Jodie about the weapon, but she brushed it off, insisting that it wasn’t real.

However, Lily clearly wasn’t convinced, and later told David about the hidden gun.

Jodie is already on the very first page of David’s bad book, so how will he react to this revelation? Will Jodie be kicked out once and for all?
