CORRIE BLUNDER Coronation Street fans in hysterics as they spot huge set blunder in show – did you clock it?
CORONATION Street fans have been left in hysterics after they spotted a huge set blunder.
It came during a recent scene with Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) and his cousin Richie, played by Corrie newbie Nathan Sussex – but did you spot it?
The blunder happened in last night’s episode, as the two men talked in the lounge of Tim’s home.
But as Richie remained seated as they chatted, his cousin was seen walking up the stairs.
However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that despite the fact it was meant to look like Tim was now in another room upstairs – his foot could be seen at the top of the stairs.
This is because the set stairs are only built to go so far, as there isn’t really a second floor.
Pointing this out on TikTok, one Coronation Street fan said laughing: “I love it when you spot mistakes! Love Tim though!”
Meanwhile, it was revealed at the end of last month that actor Nathan was joining Corrie as part of a “massive storyline” involving Tim and his wife Sally.
Soap fans will recognise him from Hollyoaks, where he played evil paedophile Buster Smith from 2018 to 2021.
Nathan was quick to share his delight at joining the ITV soap, as he posted a snap outside the Rovers Return on Instagram.
The soap star captioned it: “I couldn’t walk down the cobbles and not get a piccy outside the rovers. There’s a new boy in weatherfield very soon.”
The news comes after Executive Producer Kate Brooks teased the major new storyline for Tim and Sally.
She told Radio Times: “It’s a story that tests them as people, tests them as a couple, but tests them as foster parents as well.
“It’s a bit of a curveball and it comes from slightly left field, but absolutely upends their lives. It’s how they navigate that situation going forward.
“Sally and Tim are so beloved and I just adore them. It’s seeing them in a slightly different position than what we’ve seen them in before.”
