Emmerdale’s Danny Miller pens beautiful poem to wife Steph and yep, we’re in bits

I’m not crying, you’re crying. Or at least you will be once you’ve read Emmerdale star Danny Miller’s gorgeous poem, dedicated to his wife.

The actor, who plays dales heartthrob Aaron Dingle, celebrated his wedding anniversary in style with a moving tribute to his wife Steph written in verse.

Sharing the sweet gesture on Instagram, Danny captioned his post with’ Happy 4th Wedding Anniversary my love’ with a heart emoji, and a photo of the couple sharing a smooch, before going full Shakespeare on his followers.

Launching into his poem, Danny managed to sum up his entire history with his childhood sweetheart from the beginning, all the way through to marriage and children.

‘From playground days to wedding vows,
You’ve been my heart through then and now.
Twenty years of growing side by side,
With love that’s been my truest guide.’

‘Three beautiful children, a farm we adore,
A flock of cheeky chickens, and always something more.
You saw the best in me before I ever could,
And helped me become the man I knew I should.’

‘My wife, my best friend, my greatest blessing too,
Every good part of my life begins with you.
Happy 4th Anniversary, Steph—
Here’s to forever, with all my love.’

This Woolpack Wordsmith received a comments section full of praise from fans and co stars alike, including  Kevin Mathurin, who plays the role of local vicar  Charles Anderson.

Last but by no means least, this parish’s very own Duncan Lindsay, Metro Soaps Editor, offered his own congrats.

Huge congratulations, wonderful couple’ Duncan wrote, with a flurry of heart emojis.

Danny loves to share his personal milestones with the fans, and recently opened up on Instagram about celebrating a very important step in his sobriety journey, completing a whole year without alcohol. Understandably, he couldn’t wait to update people on the physical changes he’s been seeing.

‘It’s not until you see old pictures that you realise how much you’ve changed,’ he wrote alongside the picture.

‘Looking at the photo on the left, I remember feeling run down, tired and constantly putting myself at the bottom of the priority list.’

‘Like a lot of parents, I was so busy trying to be everything for everyone else that I forgot to look after myself.‘

‘To be the best husband I can be. To be the best dad I can be. I first needed to be the best Danny I could be.’
