Hollyoaks stars spark real-life dating rumours – and fans love it
Could it be true?
They may be playing siblings, but Hollyoaks stars Chloe Atkinson and Brook Debio have sparked dating rumours outside of the Channel 4 soap as the pair shared several photos together.
The pair play Dee Dee and Ant Hutchinson respectively, with Atkinson taking over the role from Lacey Findlow last year. Debio, meanwhile, replaced William Thompson in the same year.
The duo have shared several photos together in recent months, with Atkinson posting them on her Instagram account. In a post from June, the couple went on a date as they played mini golf.

“Visited the Sydney Opera House and played mini golf ⛳️ life doesn’t get much better,” wrote the actor, with Debio responding: “You’re lucky you’re a hottie coz you’re shite at golf.” Co-stars Anya Lawrence and Isabelle Smith also commented, calling them “cuties”.
Atkinson also shared a post after one of Harry Styles’s recent concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium, with Debio calling her a “cuteh”. In response, Atkinson wrote: “You’re cute I’m gonna keep you.”
Several fans of the soap expressed their joy at what looks to be a relationship, with one writing: “Very pleased for you Chloe and Brook you are both made for each [other] love you both playing Ant and Dee Dee in Hollyoaks.”
On the soap itself, it’s been a difficult time for Dee Dee and Ant, with their mother Diane passing away in May. Since then, Dee Dee entered rehab for drug use, and met Abigail Matthews.
The newcomer is played by former Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent, with the character being a counsellor. Since Abigail’s debut, she has already found her way into Cleo McQueen’s bed, and will soon land a job at Hollyoaks High.
This is set to see her involved in Dee Dee’s ongoing storyline, with Nancy Osborne actor Jessica Fox teasing: “Nancy loves to hire somebody with no check on their background or qualifications! Somehow she’s like: ‘Well, John Paul left, you’ll do!’
“She gets Abigail involved. You know what Nancy’s like – she thinks [Abigail is] fabulous! She couldn’t spot a troublemaker if she tried. I don’t think I can say much about the Abigail storyline yet. As I said, Nancy will probably be the last one to notice what’s going on.”
