Sarah gets set to kill in Coronation Street as her terrifying situation calls for drastic action

Is Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) about to add to her Coronation Street kill count?
The next instalment of Orange is the new Platt looks set to be a doozy, when Sarah’s friend-turned-enemy Kacey (Emma Matthews) turns deadly, and she might well be forced to send another baddie to the afterlife.
With both bent-copper boyfriend Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and ex-boyfriend-turned-saviour Gary Windass (Mikey North) hell bent on keeping her out of the clink for offing vile beast Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), it seemed Sarah might avoid punishment for her first foray into slaying, but alas, it wasn’t to be.
Sarah’s prison spell has hardly been a smooth one thus far, with her being frequently slapped around by some of the tougher inmates.
Still, at least she had Kacey, right?
Or, she did, until it became incredibly clear that Kacey’s kindness had been due to the fact she knew Sarah’s boyfriend is a police officer and thought it could potentially come in handy.

This week sees Kacey attempt to use Sarah’s copper connections to save the skin of her son after he’s busted for an armed robbery.
The only problem? Sarah has literally just dumped said copper.
Reasoning that her current predicament could destroy not only his career, but his whole life, Sarah ended things with Kit, breaking both of their hearts in the process.
When she explains this to Kacey, though, she’s not met with a warm hug and the promise that ‘everything will be okay’. She’s instead met with hostility and a serious threat to her physical wellbeing should she not have Kit interfere to ensure Kacey’s son’s freedom.
Turning to Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) with her conundrum, he insists that she contacts Kit, who tells Sarah that he can’t help her. Kacey, as expected, doesn’t take the news well and it becomes painfully clear to Sarah: her life is in serious danger.

Next week sees Kacey step up her campaign, showing Sarah a selection of pictures of Harry Platt (Joshua Leavy) at his friends house, this coming after she discovers that her own photo of Harry has been defaced, with her son’s face being scrubbed out.
Sarah calls Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson), terrified for Harry’s safety, leading him, Kit and Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) to investigate his friends mum, while Sarah steals some pool balls from the prison rec room and stuffs them into a sock, clearly preparing for a show down.
Yvonne Atkins, eat your heart out!
On the outside, Kit tells Bethany he plans to dish out some threats to keep Sarah safe, but when his mum Bernie Winter-Alahan (Jane Hazlegrove) intervenes and tells him to put himself before Sarah, it seems as though she’s on her own as she approaches Kacey’s cell, armed with her weapon.
Is Kacey about to make Sarah’s kill count grow?
